Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Intervio AI ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects your information when you use our mobile app.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. Your password is handled securely by Firebase Authentication and is never visible to us.

Profile information (optional). Target job role, experience level and a short bio, if you choose to add them.

Practice content. Interview questions, the answers you write, scores, AI feedback, daily challenge results, streaks and practice history.

Resume content. Information you enter in the resume builder, such as your name, contact details, education, work experience and skills.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers for advertising.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and sign you in.
• To generate interview questions, evaluate your answers and give feedback.
• To suggest improvements to your resume and create resume PDFs.
• To show your progress, streaks and weak-area insights.
• To keep the app secure and fix problems.

3. AI processing

To provide AI features, the text you submit (such as interview answers and resume content) is sent to Google's Gemini AI models through Google Firebase to generate questions, feedback and suggestions. This text is used only to provide the feature you requested. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information you do not want processed.

4. Third-party services

We use the following Google services to run the app. They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms:

• Firebase Authentication – account sign-in
• Cloud Firestore – storing your profile, practice history and resumes
• Cloud Functions for Firebase and Firebase AI Logic / Gemini – AI features

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate the app, or when required by law.

6. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud servers and transmitted using encryption (HTTPS). Access to your data is restricted to your own account. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at vithanichandresh.g@gmail.com from your registered email address. We will delete your account and data within 30 days.

8. Children's privacy

Intervio AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile and resumes in the app. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
